Did you finish Form VI or Upper Sixth in the Summer of 1973?
As part of our plans to establish a yearly schedule of reunions, we would like to invite you back to Big School for a trip down memory lane.
The reunion is scheduled for Saturday 1 April 2023, from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm (approx.) and will be a wonderful opportunity for you to reconnect with school friends and peers, and possibly some of your old teachers too. The reunion will include a welcome from Alex Frazer, 34th Head of WGS, a tour of School, as well as a buffet lunch and a drink, or two!
Dr Chris O’Brien, former Head of Maths is now our part-time Archivist and his knowledge and passion for the School’s history is really helping us to develop this important aspect of WGS. We will happily create a display from the photographs and memorabilia we have in our archives for the years you were here. If you would like to share any photos, please email them via development@wgs-sch.net and we will scan and include them in the display.
We do hope you will be able to join us for a walk down memory lane. We are keen to show you what has changed since your left WGS and to share plans for the future too. The reunion promises to be full of fun and laughter.
