We are opening our doors for a celebration of drama productions at WGS!
Were you involved with any of WGS' theatre productions during your time at School? Whether you were a member of the cast, helped backstage, created the sets, or supported the performances musically, you are warmly invited to join us for a spectacular celebration of the commitment, dedication and talent of all involved.
The idea for a reunion was first suggested by Kevin Riley, Former Head of English from 1982 to 1989 and with the realisation that 40+ years had passed since the first production at WGS with Bernard Trafford, Former Head, it is long overdue! School productions are always a hot topic of conversation for visiting OWs, remembering fondly their involvement whether on stage or in the audience.
A warm reception will await you in Big School, with a welcome from Nic Anderson, Acting Head. Bernard Trafford and Kevin Riley will also give an opening address before a tour of School. The tour will end in time for lunch in the Art & Drama block followed by a display of memorabilia from the productions - there may also be a special show too!
We hope to see you on Saturday, 10 February!
