Calling all Golfers!

A permanent annual fixture on the calendar for well over two decades, the OW Sports Festival Golf Day will take place on Friday 6 September at The Mount Golf Club.

Firstly, I trust you are all well. The majors are over and no British Winners, with Americans Scheffler, Schauffele and Souffle dominating! Justin Rose flew the flag for the old boys and gave us hope that age is no barrier to good golf, just ability!

We would be delighted if you could join us for the annual Old Wulfs Sports Festival Golf Day on Friday 6th September.  As always, all abilities are welcome, and all abilities do attend (no names mentioned). All are Old Wulfrunians or are associated through the school. There are faces young and older, but all enjoying the opportunity to catch up on old times and new, whilst enjoying a friendly, yet mildly competitive game of golf.

Due to a slight mix up on dates, we are a week earlier than expected. I am delighted to say that we have been welcomed back to The Mount Golf & Country Club (previously Perton GC) once again, with tee times from 11.45am. The cost will be £35.00 which includes coffee, bacon roll on arrival and tee time. There are prizes to be won on the day for nearest the pins and the longest drive.

The school have managed to negotiate a preferential rate for anyone who wishes to book a room at the Mount Hotel. This does however need to be booked through the school. If you would like a room, please do let us know as soon as possible so the school can reserve a room for you, or email the Development Team directly on development@wgs-sch.net
