Remembering our dear friend and colleague Carrie Bennett on what would have been her 50th birthday

Over the summer Mrs Rowley has been busy with a new project made possible through funding from the Merchant Taylors' Foundation. In an unused space outside the Jenyns Library are the beginnings of a beautiful story garden to be named after our late Director of Marketing and Communications, Carrie Bennett. This area will soon be filled with literary inspiration to uniquely enable our community to immerse themselves in reading whilst connecting with nature, two things that were loved by Carrie.

Mrs Rowley has ambitious plans to further furnish the garden with plants and sensory equipment and the official opening of the Bennett Story Garden will take place later this month. 

Today would have been Carrie's 50th Birthday and we know she will have touched the hearts of many of our OW community so if you would like to support the fundraising for the Bennett Story Garden, please click on the link below:
